First you have to indicate to the program which chords are easy for you and which ones are hard. To do this, clic on this Button .
The following window, where you can enter your own chord difficulty levels, will appear

Remark : if you move the mouse cursor on a chord name, you will see its configration in the bottom of the window. The Reset buttons allow you to reset the chords difficulty levels to their default values.
The rest of the job depends on the fact you have a tablature file or no.
If you have a tablature file in the HTML (.html or .htm) or TEXT (.txt) format, you can direclty load it in the program. The program will automatically detect the chords contained in the file.
You have just to clic on this button and the program will find the easiest transposition for you and will change the chords contained in the file consequently.
You can see here the easiness or hardness level of the current transposition.
If you want, you can try other transposition by using this slider
The ”+” button increases the transposition by a half-tone and the ”-” button decreases it. You can also move the slider's cursor directly to the transposition you want.
If you don't have a tablature file, you will have to enter the song's chords manually by clicking on this button

First you have to enter the original song's chords in the “Song's Chords” boxes. And then you have to clic on the “Find Easiest Transposition” button. The transposed chords will appear in the “Transposed Chords” boxes.
You can also try manual transpositions. To do this you can either :

When you load a tablature file, you can tell the program to highlight or to unhighlight the detected chords. To do this clic on this button .
You can also tell the program how to highlight the detected chords by clicking on this button . The following dialog boxe will appear :
You can choose to display the detected chords in bold and/or italic and/or underlined. You can also choose to display them in a specific colour.
The “Show Chord Configuration” check box allow you to see the configuration of a given chord just by moving the mouse cursor on its name in the tablature file, like this one
