Yes you're right. DPP++ is for Windows only.
Unfortunately, I have no plans to write a Mac version, as I have never programmed on Mac and I don't even know if it is possible to transpose it on Mac.
DPP has not been written to support plugins. So to write DPP++, I have used some advanced functions of Windows and I don't know if those functions exist on Macs.
