thanks for this wonderful add-in !

Hi, Thanks so much for greatly improving this program.

I have a request, hopefully not too difficult.

When you right click the picture in the trimming tool, the aspect ratios pop up but custom saved ones do not show. Would be great to see them there as well.

Thanks soo much, Steve

COOL. Thanks.
This adds the crop adjustments that I've been hoping Canon would add for years!
Thanks.

Just got around to using it yesterday. again thanks for taking the time to add these features to DPP! So far it's been working great (composition aids).

Add "Vibrancy" and "Clarity" and you've almost eliminated the need for me to open photoshop.

Bonjour

Efficace et exécution rapide
Merci

Bravo! I had a bubble level on my monitior is make sure my display is level but that's less important now with these grid lines. Also I was very close with the placement of the subjects but it's good to have these lines as suggestions, if needed. I like the fact that I can run it off USB drive.

Pretty cool add-on!

How about some spiral curves?

A Mac version wold be nice :)

on 23/03/2010 at 16:55

Got the newest version ... excellent again!!

on 23/03/2010 at 16:54

Merci

A great piece of programming! I admire your skill.

You have made a powerful tool even more useful ~ many thanks!!

Can you add the ability to change from portrait to landscape on fly. It is suck that you need to change from 5x7 to 7x5 if you want to crop it lanscape (7x5), even thought you already have 5x7(portrait) in the last crop. I like Picasa because it doesn't care if you enter 5x7 or 7x5. Thanks for the plug in :)

I was very pleased to see free rotation added to DPP with version 3.8, but the availability of DPP++ v1.2 makes it all the better!

The Photoshop inspired Measuring Tool method of setting the arbitory rotation amount is excellent and easy to use.

If that wasn't enough, the ability to add additional fixed Custom Aspect Ratios, and the fact that the straightened trim produces the aspect ratio chosen is also a great time saver. I have decided to add all the standard sizes I usually crop to print on up to 13x19 paper. Great addition!

If the cropping guides discussed recently (Rule of Thirds, Golden Rule, Diagonals, etc.) can also be implemented, so much the better!

Wonderful job and thanks very much!!

Thanks for this mate.
I like that diagonal rule you have added as I suggested.
Keep it up.

Thank you or this missing piece of DPP. I will test it this weekend. Great work.

You are good! Thanks for the nice program.

on 15/03/2010 at 07:58

That's awesome !! DPP just got even better

I use the 5X7 crop ratio quite often and was praying for Canon to add it to the list so I don't have to type it into "custom " every time. Well that's fixed

on 14/03/2010 at 18:15

well that's a nice tool, keep up the good work !

i didn't know plugins could be developed for dpp ?

Cool, thank you for your time and this great application. Hopefully Canon will implement a tool like this in the next release!

Great utility.
How about another one? What about adding an MTF50 utility that allows you to select a black/white edge and calculate the MTF in LP/PH?
I have found an on-line one that is shareware but costs a bit once the evaluatiojn is up. It would be great to have the facility in DPP and it looks like you have the programming skills (see www.quickmtf.com).
How about it?

Tks for taking the time out to do this for us DPP users, very much appreciated here in sunny Dublin!!!!

on 14/03/2010 at 08:27

Thanks for creating a great little tool to take advantage of the new rotaion feature in DPP. I tried it and it works well.

on 14/03/2010 at 08:27

Thanks a bunch!

on 14/03/2010 at 08:26

Thank you, very neat and easy to use.

on 14/03/2010 at 08:25

That little widget of yours works very indeed.

Thanks

on 14/03/2010 at 08:25

Interesting...I wasn't aware that DPP had plug-in capabilities. Are there any more out there other than MagicRule?

on 14/03/2010 at 08:24

Essayé la version 3.5 sous Vista 32 bits. Fonctionne nickel. Merci pour ce développement.

on 14/03/2010 at 08:23

Just tested in Win Vista 64bit and it's working without a problem. Cool!

on 14/03/2010 at 08:23

Thanks. Works great. I don't want to guess 10 times to get my horizon correct. I appreciate your efforts.

Bravo Benoit

on 14/03/2010 at 08:21

on 14/03/2010 at 08:19

Bonjour,

Merci
